According to the scene, Pirog is fighting Aaron Mitchell then he wants to go ahead and fight Pavlik after it (for some reason it won't let me copy the article). Pirog: "My fight with Aaron Mitchell will be an eliminator bout for the right to fight for the WBO belt. If I win in Moscow, why should I fight the European belt holder when I can go to America and meet Kelly Pavlik? That's the answer. It's Macklin who needs me, not vice-versa. If he wanted to fight me so much, where had he been earlier?"
Its still on according to boxrec, i beleive thats a more reliable source? http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=76117&cat=boxer
Seen the Mitchell fight on Boxrec i thought that was he warm up while Macklin hand and eye healed either way im sort of glad they avoided each other this early

hes got a point.....however cant really see the bobfather allowing pavlik to fight him based on risk vs nada reward
sounds like macklins team messed Priog around. dont think they fancied such a tough fight thats not for a world title
I make you right. It could mean that we get to see the brits work out who is the best. I couldn't really get too excited by Pirog anyways. I know a few people here rated him. But if he thinks he's on a better level then let Mackin, Barker, Lee sort it out then go after him if he hasn't been found out meanwhile!
reckon there might be a chance of this happening. with no hennesey tv deal barker needs to keep active and boost his profile. simular to what happened with rhodes vs moore
