I hope so. Barker vs Macklin would be huge!

I'd like to see Moorsey get in on the action as well.

I think Jamie Moore would fancy another go with Macklin. I believe he said befor that he feels Barker would be a step back at this point.

I rate pirog very highly, he is a joy to watch and very clever and tough with a beautiful bob and weave style which makes him very hard to hit.None of the irish or british middle weight boxers would take him imo. Watch pirogs fight next saturday against the hard punching mitchell!!

    I will do.

I have watched some of his stuff previously (all be it not a huge amount) and I don't think his style would cause Macklin big problems.

Barker we don't know yet but I have a funny feeling he may just be a little bit special!!!

I'd rather see Mcklin go after Strum or Sylvester anyway. I really like Mcklin and I think he'll wipe the floor with them two both, I'd rather see him face Pavlik when he wins a world title from one of them two to give him just that bit more confidence.

Macklin should fight eliminator vs maybe Lorenzo,Gevor or N'jikam

He dosen't deserve for title. He beat only past prime Asikainem and old Elcock. They are C-level fighters.

At least MW is picking up a bit now. N'Jikam, Golovkin, Pirog and Macklin are all talented as ****.

Macklin would beat everyone based in the UK they are nowhere near his level. Barker needs to step up and fight a live contender to the European title before he steps in with Macklin. As others have said Barker and Lee would be a great test for both fighters and we will find out more about both fighters to see were there level is.

Since McEwan is looking for someone and both himself and Macklin are at the Wild Card now I wonder if Macklin V McEwan could kick off this year. I certainly think Macklin has time on his side. Pirog is 29 so he maybe wants to accelerate any route he can take to get a world title shot.

Pirog won his fight today and this was what he said after the fight:

"...Now I'll be number 1 in the WBO rating and possibly I can land a fight with Kelly Pavlik. The problem is the American fans don't know me very well, so I must have my next fight in the USA".
