just as i expected, and can understand, macklin wants no part of him, also i haven't heard a lot of noise with the name pirog in it from andy lees lips, this confirms it for me that neither of them beleive they stand any kind of chance with him, they won't fight him till they see someone box him who can show them somekind of a line on how to get round his awkwardly effective style, they are good fighters in their own rite, but pirogs their BOSS.:think:good

Lee is not rated in the top 15 with the WBO so I don't think he is eligible to fight for Pirog's title. He is rated at 15 with the WBC which would explain him expressing an interest in fighting Martinez.

Pirog needs some big fights, some exposure. Even with his title though, he's not worth the risk. I was shocked when Golden Boy put him against Jacobs.

Pirog would not beat Martinez. But he'd kick the **** out of Lee and Macklin. Still, what a fuss over beating a ****ing prospect!

Pirog is a talented fighter but the hype he is getting is a bit ridiculous. He beat Jacobs who was also a good but unproven fighter and now suddenly everyone is apparently running scared from him.

I don't think Pirog has been getting that much hype aside from this thread...?

Looks a clear level above Macklin but Martinez would be a tough match for him.

He was getting some serious hype straight after the Jacobs fight. Not sure if it has cooled off yet.

Maybe hype is the wrong term to use but since his win over Jacobs it would seem that he would destroy anyone at middleweight and everyone's afraid of him. The more logical reason that fighters like Macklin and Lee are not calling him out is that he is not a big name, I doubt Lee would turn down the chance to fight him, he said as much in an interview not so long ago.

hype or not, it would appear even before jacobs they were aware of his abilitys, not just them all his prospective contenders, absolutely nobody at present in the im a great prospect league, want to fight him, he's a world champ, trawling for a challenger.:think:good
