Macklin should prove a worthy test to Martinez early, but he's got some defensive flaws and have been exploited by lesser southpaws in the past, he kept walking onto big left hands by Moore and eventually got sparkled. I think he'll prove he's very physically strong and has one hell of a left hook, he might bust Sexy Sergs nose up or hurt him to the body, but ultimately, I feel Martinez will knock him out. You never know though, they've got Macklin a +670 underdog, I feel it could potentially be a value bet in there.
Macklin should go for broke early on (hopefully he's worked his arse off and peaked his condition) and keep digging Martinez to the body like Margarito did. Macklin is a hell of a lot stronger, physically.. than was Margarito who stopped Martinez, but then again, Martinez is a different fighter today than he was. Macklin needs to get in there and do damage though, otherwise he's ****ed. And if he's capable of closing the distance on Martinez, he'll not be on the end of them thudding left hands.
How does it play out Cellz? Are you just thinking Father Time will catch Martinez or do you see something else? And why do so many guys call him Sexio? Is he the kind of guy that poofters like? (no offence meant,poofter is non offensive in my experience)
He's an all around the year conditioned athlete though, but you never know. He's been stopped before.
