    Hopefully Sturm's people can come back with a real offer. The first fight was a cracka'. Don't agree with it being a robbery, though. It was close and could have gone either way. I had Sturm winning.

    tbf to macklin i dont think he wants to get another bad decision against him. i personally chose quality over quantity in this fight. so had sturm a very close winner.

    but.. i can see why matt is not going for it.

    Misleading article title IMO. Macklin says he'd be happy to go back for a better offer and without Sturm's ridiculous option demands. Hell according to Macklin's people they haven't been presented with an actual contract, despite all of Sturm's bluster. Obviously this is a he said-she said situation, but given Sturm's track record, I'm not about to accept everything he's said lately at face value.
