I'm a big fan of MAB and his win over Prince naseem was great I really love watching that fight over and over again. But just recently I heard he was accused of taking steroids for that fight. Is this true or is there any evidence that suggest PED's. I dont want to believe it and I really hope it doesn't taint the legacy of such a great fighter. and Does anyone know why he wears the name "tapia" on the back of his trunks? just curious

Tapia is his mother's maiden name.

Oh gotcha thanks, any word on the steroid thing? that would taint a beautiful victory. Personally I dont believe it and MAB put a clinic on that night he took Prince to school lol

Never heard any suggestions that he took Peds. Given what's happened lately I suppose you can't totally rule it out, but I seriously doubt it.

Where did you hear that, other than nuthugging Naz fans?

Besides, PED's dont give you boxing skills, which is what Barrera used to school Hamed that night.

The steroid accusations have no basis. Pay them no mind.

Roids schmoids, MAB trounced Hamed through classic, impeccable boxing skills. Boxing is the name of the game after all, and like a previous poster said, MAB put on a clinic that night.
