    I think it's unlikely that Dempsey or Marciano would be banned for joining the black muslims.

    Ali was not ban for that, it was the draft that got him.

    Yes; but he didn't go to war speficially because of the way he was manipulated by the controlling interests of the cult he joined.

    What ever Ali reasons were, Many people got harsher sentences than Ali did for ducking the draft.
