As per usual, no one has ever heard of the guy, so they don't take him seriously. Which is a mistake that's far too commonly made by fans of the sport. Sometimes when a fighter is unheard of he's an unproven bum, but frequently when someone is unheard of, he's an unheralded beast primed and ready to pull an upset. If it weren't for the constant harping of Usyk fans like IB, Serge and myself on here, there'd be a hell of a lot of people stunned to their core by his victory over Anthony Joshua. Hell, look how many so-called experts and boxing journalists wrote him off as well, which ended up exposing them as the pathetic casuals that they are. But, a word of advice, when there's a lot of savvy and knowledgeable fans that are high on the chances of a guy you've never heard of, listen close and take note because it's for good reason, so at the very least brace yourself for the potential of an upset.
I'm very much looking forward to it, because it's one of those fights that feels like anything could happen. On the one hand, I could see Madrimov having some success and taking Bud into deeper waters than he ever been in. And I could also see Bud being tested but rising to the occassion and passing that test and impressing. And just the fact that he's fighting a bigger guy at a higher weight class adds intrigue. If Bud can dispatch Madrimov without much trouble then a lot of fans will be more interested in a potential Canelo fight than maybe they are now. But if he struggles or loses, then maybe not. So there's a lot of intrigue here on many levels.
I’d never heard of Madrimov before this was announced if I’m being honest. Since then I’ve watched quite a bit of him on YouTube, and I still Crawford is going to beat him with immense ease. He doesn’t look hard to hit and if he tries that leaping left hook that he seems to use often, Crawford will make him pay. I think this is a sensible first fight for Crawford at 154. I think Crawford wins early, partly thanks to madrimovs style.
i'll say what I like. I work too hard to **** my money away on rigged sporting events. My pride doesn't depend upon betting someone online
i just did a dive on this dude, hes out of his league. his size advantage is not enough to overcome crawfords skill advantage. his jabs are too predictable, and he jabs a lot, but he leaves himself exposed to counters when he jabs. that combination is bad news against an elite like bud. he overextends, and bud is going to teach him about distance. bud either takes away his jab, and he starts to unravel, as he relies heavily on it to set up his bombs. or, bud flat out counters him with a hook or upper as madrimov jabs to the body, hurts and finishes him. if he abandons his jab and decides to trade, bud catches him with the third punch of a 3 punch combo in an exchange. cause madrimov practices only exchanging 2. a bit specific, lol. but that was the raw impression i got watching him. i hope im wrong and he actually competes. because if hes dominated by bud, the canelo fight gets made. and i think thats a bull**** fight. if he gives bud trouble, general feeling will be that he would get bulldozed by canelo. i want canelo to fight real challenges.
Lighten up my man lol. You can toss a few bucks on the game for laughs or to make a boring game/fight more interesting.
He’s a bit unorthodox with power and size, that is always a threat no matter how good you are. With that being said, Crawford is better in literally every category except power. Madrimov might rock him a few times but I can’t see anything other than him getting soundly outboxed and maybe even stopped.
