IMO this is the definition of a 10-8 round WITHOUT a knockdown.

One sided and boy did Tszyu give him a beating! Yep, a clear 10-8 round for me.

MAG landed a few good body shots during the opening 30-40 seconds, after that it was all tszyu, cutting off the ring, using sharp left hooks and hard straight right hands that hurt MAG. tszyu clearly dominated 90% of the round, i see no reason a 10-8 round could not be used!!

    Totally agree. Clearly 10-8.

Its a line sometimes Im reluctant to cross but in recent years I have been more inclined to score a round like that a 10-8.

For me its more clear cut then say a scenario where a fighter dominates a round then gets caught with seconds to go and has the round scored 10-8 against him. That can often be hard to decide how to score it in that situation.

Lacking? I could'nt see anything. However, that clip lead to
a great KO by tsyzu over jan bergman. KT was a killer in his prime.

I'm with you on this one. Very tough to score and I don't know if it's fair to score such a round 10-8 for the fighter who got dominated but just happened to land one big punch lets say seconds before the bell.

As for the vid above, think of it this way: If judges score a round 10-8 when a fighter touches the canvas with his glove (like Tarver in the Hopkins fight for example), why shouldn't they score a round 10-8 when one fighter is CLEARLY dominating, but just fails to put the other one down?
