magarito vs a prime trinidad who wins

Margo is tailor made for Tito and would be blasted quickly out of there within 5 rds. KTFO the hook would end it quick.

 

trinidad will get this one. on his prime, trinidad was awesome, just lost to a bigger fighter in hopkins. he shouldve stayed at superwelter

this fight has the makings of a classic if both were in their primes right now @ww. since neither are good defensively i can see tito landing one of those fatal left hooks on marg face sending him to the canvas maurice blocker style.

 

Some important points here.

For one Margarito is alot tougher than Vargas or even David Reid.

For two, Margarito in his prime can hurt Trinidad, especially if Trinidad gets wild and brawls with him.

I'd pick Trinidad but not as easily as some of you will.

 

I agree... Trinidad was susceptible to being hurt or being knocked down against guys with good power. Trinidad still wins, but it would be a more thrilling and competitive fight than some here are willing to admit.

Trinidad by UD or possible by late rounds KO, but in one hell of a good fight and Trinidad might have to get off the canvas to win.

You guys beat me to it. I was thinking Trinidad vs Campas. No one at 147 stands in front of Tito and comes straight forward and sees the final bell

 

Margarito has the perfect style to get murdered by Tito. trinidad was knocked down because he lacked side to side movement. In every fight he was put down he came back and knocked the other guy out, same with Margo.

 

It has to be

 

Trinidad gets dropped early but isn't hurt, as happened in about 6 of his 16 defenses. He then uses his much superior speed, skill, and power to blast out Margarito the same way he did to Campas. Trinidad was only really hurt when he fought Hopkins, all the other times he went down were flash KD's early in the fight. You can't come right at Trinidad and win. It just isn't going to happen. Tito by knockout, with Margarito lasting maybe a round more than Campas (who does have as good, and likely a better chin than Margo).

I pick Trinidad 90 times out of 100...at least.

 

Tito is the one guy that could KO margarito with his left hook. Margarito would be done.
