    Here's what Margo's trainer said about the incident yesterday;

    "It got blown out of proportion. They checked Tony's hands. He had one hand wrapped and he was wrapping the other. They said his other hand was wrapped too high. Tony didn't want that to be an issue so he had me cut the wrap off his other hand and he wrapped them both to their satisfaction on the spot."

    This is interesting. This statement contradicts what every media outlet who reported on this incident said. It also contradicts statements from Richardson, the state official who collected the blocks of hardened gauze, as well as Margo's own manager. Everyone says that the gauze was too hard and wet and that one plaster like block was removed from each hand. However, Margo's manager claims the issue revolved around Margo's hands being wrapped too high. Huh, I wonder the stories aren't matching up?:roll:

    2 weeks before the fight??!!:nut:shock:

    That's almost as stupid as saying "Yea...we prepared his water bottle 4 days before the fight and we left it out with some other chemicals that made it turn into a illegal substance...we did nothing illegal" :roll:

    I think it's getting more and more suspicious as this investigation prolongs

    Perfectly put. Espinoza should be fired immediately.

    He was told to re-wrap them 3 times...so its possible he's referring to one of the other incidents as ignoring the obvious one everyone is talking about

    From another website;

    When informed that some rumors had Margarito getting caught with plaster of paris or another foreign substance in his wraps, Diaz flatly denied it. "No. No way. They were just wrapped too high for their liking."

    Either that or the roids had a latent effect.

    Bunch of cheaters, Margo and his corner should be banned for life.

    Margo's excuses are terrible, this **** is almost as bad as the "he had eye surgery a week before the fight" **** his corner was spewing.

    You could even tell Margo had nothing in his pop...After the 6th he said it to his trainer "Yea...I know...Ima go all in." Then he went in there and popped Mosley a few times and he didn't look phased, stunned, hurt, or blinked....his head didn't even snap back.

    BUT!

    I'm curious if anyone knows what he usually weighs before a majority of his fights...I'm under the impression that he was also weight-drained for this fight. 145.8?? That's a lil too much for a guy who walks around at 175 and ****. Oscar De La Hoya anyone? :think

    I still feel if he cheated, he should rematch Cotto, take a beating, and go back to the hole he came from...

    Who the **** has eye surgery the week before a fight? At the most, he had an outpatient procedure. I can't believe his team put that bull**** out there, pathetic.

    The stories aren't matching up because they didn't get together first and come up with the same story. The first rule of a cover up is to get your story straight among all parties. Or just shut the heck up and don't speak up until you have to.

    This is really distressing.

    I would be surprised if it was actually plaster of paris or anything like that.

    It may have been illegal as per the rules, however.

    You're jumping to conclusions ya stupid ****.
    There are about 5 conflicting reports, and here you are passing judgement.
    Why not wait for the official findings ya **** nugget?
    Then pass your judgement.
