Yes, Magee is not elite but he is deserving of his shot.

I also disagree that he is past it. He is actually in the form of his life and a better fighter now than when he faced Froch.

Saying that I still make Bute a heavy favourite

He certainly knows his way about a ring. I didnt mean to say he was rubbish , solid euro level and maybe more , just a level below those other guys.

Magee isnt on its own a terrible fight and I appreciatte Bute has troubles because of the Super 6. I just cant help thinking if I was a 30 year old ( soon to be 31 ) champ with the thin resume Bute has I'd be breaking my neck to get big names.

Pavlik just got out of rehab , Kessler was first to get a call from Bute he said there's no way he's ready for a fight in March. IDK about Dirrell ... i think he's presumed dead or something . Dead in boxing I mean , or just heavily injured.

I must inform you since you have I suppose 20 years of formal education (same as me) that Romania comes from Rome (the glourious ancient city) and not from Roma population or pikey as you say.In etimology this is what you call a `false friend`. Romania has no more than 2,5% pikey pupulation (originary from India these people look like Amir Khan, having much darker skin coulour than American Pikey or any other gypsey). Finish please the stupidity of Super Six fighters mark.When the tourney has had begun Lucian Bute has had already one year of championship.Ward, Direll were no more than aspirants that time, Abraham had no SMW resume that time,Taylor being a looser.The only ones who could have thoughts of challengig Bute status were Kessler and Froch that time.

Let`s see the situation now:

Abraham is seen a loser against Bute even from his fans.
Direll is out.He didn`t make a real statement.He was battered back against both Froch and Abraham.Even if he could win with Froch, he could lose with Abraham also.
Green has lost to both Miranda and old Johnson.But Bute has to fight a Super Six fighter to prove something, right?
Kessler is seen by few excepting his fans capable of beating Bute.

Froch has indeed a better resume but Ring and others sees Bute ahead.

Ward is the single one seen as capable of beating Bute but in a very tighjt fight.

So, how remains with Super Six Fighters mark ? Expired sintagma.

No, but they were both up and coming prospects and Ward was a Gold medal winner. Bute has been around for years and has STILL yet to fight a world class opponent and ALWAYS fights on home ground.

Magee is sore that Froch knocked his arse out and is talking crap.
