    I agree mate he isn't anything special just good at what he does but there is no one who is a fully fledged middleweight that Pavlik would be in trouble with imo anyway.

    I think Espino was the best of that lot. At least he tried, unlike Lockett and Rubio. He was competetive at times.

    It does sound like a long list of excuses but the excuses are pretty compelling. Two were mandatories and the other was a comeback after personal problems and hand injuries. He needs to step it up from now.

    Larsen - what a load of crap.

    His 'life or death' fights against other paper champions has been exposed for what is was.

    Magee would beat Stieglitz all day long.

    Relax. He is 36, he hasn't fought for a year, and he had a 3 year layoff some time ago. He is nowhere near the guy who beat Sven Ottke in Germany. I was there. He literally quit from the start of the 4th round. Magee was very open, will get KO'ed by anyone who can punch.

    Larsen did everything wrong tonight. He had fair success briefly when he stuck to his jab with the occasional left hand behind it, and then held whenever Magee bullrushed him. He didn't do that though and was slugged out of there.

    Magee would not beat Stieglitz all day long. He has a fair shot at him, but it would be close, possibly with a slight edge for the german.

    Typical ESB "EXPOSED" reaction. Bull**** is what it is.

    magee deserved his title i think i remebr him being robbed in germany fighting for it on sky on a howard eastman undercard

    I'm a bit the worse for wear but I presume you are refering to his SD 'loss' against Tsypko. He won that fight clearly. The fact he got jobbed and it was still an SD says it all.

    Great night for Magee - press I read had Larsen by stoppage or Larsen by points. Magee never let him settle.
