Im in a right predicament here, got 2 tickets for me and her indoors for saturday night. However shes 38 weeks preg, and likely to drop at any day, shes totally mad for going to the boxing, its her first trip to live boxing. Whats the betting she drops it friday or saturday ..and pisses on my bonfire ? Failing that going into labour during the one of the fights, I can see problems whichever way this goes :think
its my first child, so I really want to be there to see him born, if I was at the NEC, would take me half hour minimum to get back to where we live, then the same again to the hospital, so not really an option.. Im even missing Villa v Bolton so I aint away from her
I had this dilema with my missus on the eve of Haye v Maccarinelli. She was due that day. I told her to stop being so selfish and try and keep it in. Thankfully, for her, so didn't drop til the following Wednesday.
shes worried about him being born this week cause she'll miss the boxing too, Ive been to a few biggish fights, so its nothing new for me, but the timing of this is annoying
Take her with you mate. They have excellent medical staff at the event just standing round with nothing much to do. If the baby comes you'll definitely be there for it and she will have excellent attention. Hell you could even call it Warren if its a boy !
was just kidding mate, hard 1 really tho, if u dont go and the kid is born ud wish u went but on the other hand, wudnt be to good if she gave birth at the fight, although sky or frank warren may give u free tickets to the next show:good
Have a word with Warrens press secretary and see if they can do anything for you, perhaps they might see some pr value in it and give you special attention with your own medic.
