Was just about to write that Baldomir was taking Alvarez best shots in those rounds but he layed it on him and finished it in style. Great KO win for Alvarez.

 

Good finish, Baldo took some flush shots over and over at the end just took one to many. Still a granite chin by the looks of it.

 

Baldomir was pretty shot though, could tell he just couldn't get his shots off. He was trying to trade but it just wouldn't happen for him. Even at this age hes a hard guy to stop though, Alvarez is clearly one to keep an eye out for.

He had lost that pressure he used to have, I remember him not letting Gatti get a breath in their fight. Couldn't pin Alvarez down and thats not a compliment to Saul's footwork but to how faded Baldomir is.

 

Fair enough, Alvarez would have ****ed up my bet anyway with that KO. Thats softened the blow a bit :good

Can't blame Murats corner pulling him out, their boy took a beating.

 

Didn't think he would stop Baldo so well done for that but there has to be concerns regarding his defence.
