i'll be cheering on barker but just think Macklin might be to powerful.

 

I've always said that I don't think there is much between them. However I thnk Macklin has more War like experience. I expect Barker to be fit for this fight though because Belghecam gave him a real scare and to be honest did Barker a favour.
It is a bit tricky to call but I suspect Barker's camp will concentrate too much on fitness and not enough on technique. Barker's best chance is to avoid proximity at all times.

If they get up close or scrap it out I fancy Macklin to stop him. So I will say this -
If Macklin win's it will because of a viscous body shot or 1 punch ko.
If Barker wins it will be a close UD. I don't see Barker stopping Macklin unless he gets lucky but he could win a decision. I will go for Macklin by stoppage in the championship rounds.

First off, I'm still expecting it to get called off for whatever reason

Also, I think it won't live up to the hype. Macklin catches Barker early or a clash of heads stops it in the second :rofl

I'm not taking sides, think this fight will tell us a lot about where both fighters are at, just hoping it comes off and is a good fight.
