So, when Magomed just powers his way through Jameel in 3-4 rounds,

Is this going to raise Mago's ranking? Will it mean bigger fights on the horizon?

Or is this just a meaningless, "keep busy" fight?

Either way, who do you think Mago should face next? He's clearly not ready for a Wlad or a Haye. Will it depend on how he looks against McCline?

Its a good stay busy and step up fight at the same time.

For one, no one knows exactly how Magos power will translate vs bigger, battle tested guys. McCline is both bigger than anyone of note that Mago has faced, and he's also battle tested.

But, I think the outcome is forgone. McCline is well past his best and content to become a gatekeeper, which is fine, but it also brings into question his willingness to lay it all on the line. Will he stand and trade if he needs to, or will he fold under pressure, knowing the outcome is inevitable.

Im hoping McCline still has enough to make Mago sweat a bit, and somehow he can find it in him to take Mago into deeper water than he's been in.

    My guess is Mago, TKO6.:think

Good point. McCline has slowed, but he's still one big, tough SOB.

Still, He's far from KO-proof, and doesn't land bombs of his own, so Mago will probably be able to simply unload on him at will. If Mago KO's him due to a large accumulation of punches, it won't tell us much about his power.

Well, whatever. I'm more interested to see if Mago's defense has improved at all. (It can't get any worse.) - but sadly, I don't think McCline is the guy to test it.

Enters the top 30 if he wins that. Goes ahead of the like of Price and Wilder.
