He'll get better.... Despite how bad it looks he's already shown tremendous signs of improvement, and I think that a year or so from now he'll be able to do average day to day things but might still have some physical imparement and mminor difficulty with speech. at least he's not a vegetable and has begun rehab, despite how depressing it is to see him in this state we should look at the positives.
YOU CAN MAKE DONATIONS TO HIS FAMILY Bakanay Abdusalamova PO BOX 90174 Brooklyn, NY 11209 The check or money order would go to his wife.
Just hope the guy can improve enough to have a semi normal life, was a real shame what happened to him.
i cannot post links. Google the ladies name and you should get a link. I got it of ring magazine site. They have a paypal electronic payment but i dont like my credit number everywhere. Safer to just mail.
I can't bring myself to watch it after the comments so far. I just want to pray for him. It's a blessing that he's still alive after such an ordeal.
That's so hard to watch. All my prayers go out to his full recovery and his family.. I remember watching the fight live, and kept thinking the corner was going to stop it soon, not that he was behind on pts so much, just from his complaining and punches taken. If Buddy McGirt could stop Wlad/brewster2 and same for the corner of Chagaev in Wlad/Chagaev. ( these are title fights with neither fighter complaining about head pain) then Mago's corner could have stopped this fight. Briggs is lucky he didnt end up like this after Vitali.
Don't say stupid **** like that. And this is why I'll never let my kid box. Ever. Wishing him a full recovery, and salute to all the dudes who put their lives on the line. Although I know from experience that a full recovery isn't likely. I lost my mother in a similar situation. Hopefully he'll improve, but hardly anyone makes a full recovery from that
Full recovery is very unlikely.... BUT. I do believe he will recover enough to live a near normal life, and not be a burden on his wife/family.
Don't begrudge a boxer for trying to make a buck at the least risk to himself. You simply have no right to. And meanwhile, we all like a good firefight. Boxing is not a sport. Life is not a sport.
