He wieghs less as a pro than he did as an AM. That's some kind of re-dedication. Seems to me that his punches are flowing smoothly for this stage of his career. I think it's time to test that power and sharp L hand against a bigger name. See if he can bang Walker out and do what Pulev failed to do.

I agree completely. Plus, Mag's skills aren't all THAT bad. He's a little slow, and maybe a little stiff, but he isn't completely devoid of defensive moves, and he has a jab, sort of. If he had a serious coach, I can easily see him improving and making the top-ten. Never a champ, but a tough stepping stone for the champs-to-be.

Like I've said before, he's basically the new Ernie Shavers.

Walker ain't no bum. The guy beat Kali Meehan, and I think he would have a very good chance of beating Mago.

But I think that Szpilka would get his ass beat. The kid is stupid and he'd probably try to slug it out with Mago, and that would end very badly for him.

 

Magomed is like the monster Grendel from Beowulf...devouring anything in his path and nearly impervious....I fear for his opponents safety

He didn't get kD'ed by Nichols. He slipped while moving backwards.

Perhaps you should pay more attention.

He fights like Chisora but with shorter punches and a lot more punching power. Chisora isnt a puncher. It took like 150 punches in a row to TKO Sam Sexton. This guy would rough up chisora up just as bad as Fury did when Fury beat Chisora so easily.

 

Mago takes too many shots. Brain damage waiting to happen. He should hang them up.
