I thought the exact same thing when I read the thread title. They're going to match him up very carefully until he fights Wlad, then he'll open up a bit more after that...

Mago's a sharp, heavy handed puncher who cuts the ring off exceptionally well. You'll also notice that he paces himself very well and only opens up with combinations when he has his opponent against the ropes.
On the flip side, he gets hit way too much and his power is a bit overrated. Sure, the guy can punch but he isn't the devastating puncher people are making him out to be.
I'm going to wait until he fights a consensus top 50 heavyweight(Grano, Estrada, etc.) before passing judgement on him as a prospect.

 

This ^. You gotta see that KD, it's funny as fukk. Magos caught square on and completely off balance, he just goes straight down like a felled tree, but isn't even the slightest bit stunned- yet alone 'nearly knocked out cold'.

I ain't saying the guys the saviour of HW, but at least he's gonna come and fight, he hits and gets hit. He deserves props for that alone with all the Bull**** flying around.
