Yeah ^. Really, really good news. Hoping his recovery will continue and that any permanent damage is not major.

Bless and Keep to Mago and family.

    Hope he's "all there".

Looks like he'll live, now lets hope for the very best recovery possible.
    Godspeed big man.

    Great news

There is no quit in the man insider or outside the ring and i hope he can make a fast recovery and live a full life in the future.

It would be nice if HBO have been documentating this and release a film about it once Magomed has had time to recover, not only would it mean Magomed getting money for his recovery but also it would show the risks boxers take inside the ring and their bravery outside it too.

The sad reality is that we'll almost certainly never see him in the ring again - this is a life changing injury.

My only hope is that he can return to fairly full function and resume something like a normal 'civilian' life - unlike some others who have become the victims of this beautiful but cruel sport.

All the best Mago and Family and best wishes for now and the new year.

99.9999999999999999% chance Mago is done and will never step foot in a boxing ring as a competitor ever again. Hopefully he can regain most of his physical as well as cognitive functions... that alone would be a huge accomplishment, and then maybe sometime down the line Mago can offer his talents as a boxing trainer? that would be awesome!

After this? He'll most likely need years of rehabilitation. Will never happen.

Good to hear he's doing better now.
I hope he makes a full recovery, but with that not being to likely I hope he can still have a good life after this.

He'll be lucky to walk again. No way he will ever be able to enter a ring again.
