NYAC needs their balls sued off for the fiasco of not having transportation for him to get to the hospital

I believe that Mago will recover, maybe well enough to train fighters in the distant future... it's good to be optimistic but it's also important to be a realist....Mago even if he makes a close to full recovery, will not be his normal self. If he's able to walk, talk, and retain a good portion of his mental faculties that'll be an accomplishment in itself. Lets all keep supporting Mago and his family, and keep the optimism flowing, it's not good to be negative in situations such as this.

New York sure messed up. Mago barely moved one leg and I think a finger, he is unaware of anything yet. If they had done their job a gotten him to the ER with an ambulance he could have been saved..............

It's funny how people are trying to determine who to put the blame on. Not to be harsh, and I hope Magomed gets a full recovery but the blame is ultimately on him.

He took up boxing, every boxer knows the potentially dangerous risks associated with this sport. When you put on the gloves and step in the ring, you acknowledge that things could go terribly wrong. 1 punch can potentially kill you, get you paralyzed etc etc.

its a hell of price.. and mago knows that all of them do. its a risk there wiling to take. because they love to fight. especially a guy like mago. i still dont blame mago all that much.. if that was my fighter i woulda new to stop it. and if it were up to me every single fighter would to have to go to the hospital after fight...why dont they do that .. it costs to much $ or sumthing.

i guess the ringside doctor can handle everything.. unless there is more docs at the arena that check them out

That cab thing is just fxcked up, leaving them on the street, as every minute went by he could only get worse

Im hoping he can eventually move properly but the main thing is his memory, what good is it if you cant remember anything hope that comes back

So you don't put blame on the NYSAC for not providing transportation to the hospital and making him take a cab?

Tell me, what exactly do you do in the NYSAC?

that has nothing to do with the responsibility of the NYSAC. they were negligent and will get sued and will lose

If you were in his corner that night and had the chance to stop it, how would you feel taking your approx 10% trainers fee?

    Dude.... :patsch

I haven't read anywhere that he lost his vision... It seems that he's still out of it, but we won't know how much brain damage he has for a while..... He could end up being a complete vegetable, or he might regain enough of his faculties to live a semi-normal lifestyle. only time will tell, but like I said it's good to be optimistic.

i read it on a different report, but apparently he can see but doesnt know who anyone is

    - can now move one of his fingers and his legs, but only ever so slightly.
    - doesn’t recognize anyone
    - can’t speak
    - practically motionless at a Rockland County rehab hospital.
    - A portion of the boxer’s skull is missing

    that looks worse than death
i dont see him coming back from this.... its fuc.ked up and sad

they'll put that piece of his skull back on eventually...

Like I said, we'll know more in about 6 months time. Recovering from a stroke is not easy and takes time.....
