Magomed Shakhbanovich Omarov is a 6'5 25 year old Super Heavyweight Amateur. Born in and fighting out of Kaspiysk, Dagestan Republic, Russia near the oil rich Caspian Sea. Magomed Omarov who won a gold medal at 2011 European Amateur Boxing Championships, is a name we will all be hearing from in the next few years, possibly the next Anthony Joshua in terms of hype if he can managed to capture Gold at the 2016 Brazilian Olympics. He's already a monster in the making, he's beaten great Italian amateur Roberto Cammarelle and beat once but also twice beaten by the great Magomedrasul Medzhidov but he got to him in the third round bloodying him up and busting his nose in AIBA in 2013, and he also has a dominant win blitzing American Heavyweight Dominic Breazeale. Just another in a long line of Dagestan region born fighters on the scene lately alongside Artur Beterbiev and Medzhid Bektemirov. He has a ton of skills and has a perfect style for the pros, he's aggressive walks his opponents down, swings for the fences and has a pretty damn good chin, he's light on his feet for a huge guy and punches his opponents anywhere he can see an opening like Artur. So give him your time and watch closely you might be seeing a future Heavyweight star in the making. So Check Out Another Beast of Dagestan Magomed Omarov in Action.:toney:toney:toney:toney

I thought he missed his spot at olympics, didn't he? Btw he's no Medzhidov but he can really be a big deal.

I'm not sure to be honest, its hard for me to keep up 100% with a lot of the stuff from Russia because that requires translating EE articles and even then sometimes the translations are faulty, I know he lost to Nistor a few days on a technicalities Nistor got some form of a head injury and it went to the cards in Round 4 ad Nistor took a SD win. But Omarov did beat Medzhidov earlier this year.

Dychko is good but its hard for me to erase the image of Medzhidov almost beheading him.:yikes

Was it Omarov or Dychko who was horribly KTFOd by Medzhidov?

IB used to talk all sorts of **** about Omarov during the last Olympiad. He referred to him as a "mongoloid" and claimed Breazeale would have beaten him in a pro fight and would be a better pro.

Breazeale is pretty awful, he's one average puncher away from being brutally KTFO.

Omarov was how old for the 2012 Olympic games? I think he was only 21 years old. He has not hit his potential yet, but has already proven himself a top 5-7 world amateur super heavyweight.

Dominic Breazeale and Cam Awesome would clearly school the stiff robot with no defense.

    Why he duckin' Ward, doe?

Ward got his ass handed to him by Ivanov last year. If its Joe that you're referring to.

The little I've seen of Cam he's not too awesome, he looks like he's packing some serious glass.:!:
