Rd1 10- 8 Hamazaryan, surprisingly aggressive start from Fonseca who landed some solid uppercuts and right hooks before Hamazaryan landed a big left hook late in the round to score the knockdown

 

20-17 Hamazaryan

Hamazaryan immediately tries to follow up and presses Fonseca to the ropes but it looks like he recovered, some nice exchanges to close out the round

 

Hamazaryan needs to work on his defense, for a short guy he fights way too upright and stationary. He basically lets Fonseca flurry away waiting for counters but he is eating plenty of shots

29-27 Hamazaryan

 

Round 4 is pretty close, Hamazaryan has the flashier work but Fonseca edged it with his workrate imo.

 

This is turning into a wild scrap, Fonseca goes down early in the fifth from what appears to be a body shot but I didn't see it clearly and he might have also been off balance, Hamazaryan tries to follow up and presses Fonseca to the ropes and they exchange non stop for a minute

10-8 round for Hamazaryan

 

Some weird moves from Hamazaryan this round as he turns away from Fonseca and plays to the crowd only to get punched in the face
Close round but Fonseca edges it for me

 

Fonseca hurts Hamazaryan with a body shot early in round 7 & pours on the pressure, this is a very good fight!

 

Hamazaryan literally running away early in round 8, the pressure is clearly getting to him and it seems like he is getting discouraged.

Clear Fonseca round but he has a big cut over his left eye now

 

Hamazaryan is hurt by a right hand and Fonseca immediately follows up, Hamazaryan is able to ride out the storm but he was close to getting stopped there, almost a 10-8 round

 

Fonseca clearly takes round 10 as Hamazaryan only fights to survive, great fight with lots of momentum shifts!
