I agree but kinda think that Soro is beginning to look leaky as he tires.

 

Kurbanov Needs fireworks on my card. Kurbanov a bit more aggressive this round, complete with push, Soro is now trying to wait I think. Makes it boring but spells hope for Kurbanov. Firmly outjabbed and hit with a good left hook in the final minute. I know it is bad because I would like to score rounds for Kurbanov now but i'm not finding them.

To say Soro smells blood is an understatement. He barely looks at the refree when he's being given another row for roughhousing, eyes boring through Kurbanov. Who is really not having fun. Point off for Soro can't be far away though I wouldn't say overdue, they are not severe fouls just ffs. What a weird fight. I don't speak Russian, but there appears to be real urgency in the Kurb corner - suffice to say their fighter is not recreating it in the ring.

Soro starts fast, body and head, Kurbanov might need rescuing here, Soro just overeager, Kurbanov full on wrestling him, bleeding, battered. If he lasts the round, that's good result for him. Soro has stood off him - now, ou wonder if he will regret that? It would be a wild robbery but it could happen and he had a chance to sensibly press there and he has just sort of stalked. Maybe blew his munitions in the first minute, letting Kurbanov off the hook...Kurbanov actually has a decent last minute in the 11th.

I wish i'd given Soro the sixth OK, twelfth and final round, not a great fight, but it was absorbing. 12th is a microcosm of the fight with added Kurbanov tiredness until Kurbanov hurts Soro with a right late and surges. Quite exciting for a bit. Arguably a shut-out. Judges do your thing...
