He both looks and fights a little like Gvozdyk.

    Round 1 Ataev 10-9
    Round 2 Ataev 10-9
    Round 3 Ataev 10-9

Ataev marching forward, bouncing in and out of range effortlessly parrying all incoming fire, landing rights and then left hooks with ease.

Gladun is tougher than his record would suggest.

    Round 1 Ataev 10-9
    Round 2 Ataev 10-9
    Round 3 Ataev 10-9
    Round 4 Ataev 10-9

Ataev switching stances to show off. Ataev starting to land some heavy rights. Gladun is wilting, Ataev is going for the kill. Pins him along the ropes and is battering him senseless. Ripping hooks to the body late.

Ataev took the 5th round off. Completely blew his load in the 4th.

    Round 1 Ataev 10-9
    Round 2 Ataev 10-9
    Round 3 Ataev 10-9
    Round 4 Ataev 10-9
    Round 5 Ataev 10-9

Ataev still cautiously jabbing his way in, almost too cautious. Gladun charges him, he bobs and weaves avoids all of it. Ataev tags him a few times clean, seemed to take the round off.

    Round 1 Ataev 10-9
    Round 2 Ataev 10-9
    Round 3 Ataev 10-9
    Round 4 Ataev 10-9
    Round 5 Ataev 10-9
    Round 6 Ataev 10-9

David looping in left hooks, most being blocked, but at least he's throwing. Ataev pressing the action again, landing some decent rights. Lands a nice one two. Ataev has his tape fixed twice. Their shoes are squeaking now too! More jabs from Ataev. It's sparring at this point.

Ataev blew his load in the 4th, and clearly slowed down after the round.

But since then he is been boxing much more effectively, and now he is far less reckless, and making less mistakes too.
Gladun was landing way more clean power punches before the 5th.

    Round 4 Ataev 10-9
    Round 5 Ataev 10-9
    Round 6 Ataev 10-9
    Round 7 Ataev 10-9

Ataev has his foot back on the gas, marching forward battering him with one twos to the skull, and hooks to the body. Gets him on the ropes again, and hammers him with jabs.

Ataev should try closing his fists.

Ataev seems content to cruise to a decision win. Although he went for it a little late.

He does land a lot with the inside of the glove, rather than with his knuckles.
Sacrifices power for reach and speed.

    Decision for Ataev
