Magomedrasul Medzhidov born 09/27/1986 is a 6'3 Heavyweight who has yet to officially turn pro although many think the WSB should be considered professional as do I, yet another Dagestani beast who fights out of Azerbaijan, he is the cousin of Magomed Abdusalamov, so I imagine after that tragedy it may have caused him to slow down and assess his future plans. But I'm hoping this very skilled well rounded monster will eventually turn legit Pro because when he does he will be a wrecking ball in the division, he's KO'd plenty of competition with 12oz gloves on like he did brutally to fellow top prospect Dychko, he beat Anthony Joshua in the ams without headgear Anthony would have probably been KO'd, and is incredibly agile for a really big guy. Bronze at the 2012 Olympics SHW, Gold at 2013 Minsk and Almaty Amateur Championships. Gold at Baku in 2011. Prepare for the coming of the Magomedrasul....... Let's Hope.:ggg:ggg:ggg:ggg

He is not turining pro until after the Rio Olympis, if at all. With the literal flood of fighters from that region turning pro it is odd how such a blue chip prospect like him has resisted the urge. Perhaps the fate of his Cousin played a role in this like CST80 suggested.

He pretty good but 28 and not even pro yet doesn't leave him a lot of time especially when you consider how slowly heavyweight politics are

Surprising how he trashes fighters so much bigger than him.

On the contrary, 30 is the new 20 amongst heavies and he has all the time in the world.

However, he is probably one of the many who will not turn from due to this shitty amateur/professional league.

I hate his AIBA thing or what've it is called.

Do you think if Medhzidov turns pro after Rio 2016, he will move as quick as Lomacenko?

I'm hoping he will and they probably will have to move him quickly, and he's not going to be too old to be a legit contender. Pulev was 29 when he turned pro and has come a long way in a short amount of time all the way to being KTFO:yep, and Mezhidov will only be 30, so as long as what happened to Mago doesn't effect him too much he'll probably do just that.
