    Round 1: 10-9 Charr

Well...this is some staged bull****, 100%. Lovejoy doesn't even throw a single hand. He clinches up and pushing Charr forward but falling down while doing it and apparently hurt it shoulder there.

Didn't watch but did Lovejoy throw or land any punches?

Hit a jab or two first round, seemed comfortable to keep it at a slow pace but low workrate. Second round hit a wide right hook but taken mostly on the gloves.

I think Reverend Lovejoy would have put a better fight.

He wanted out from the end of the first round, when he faked a shoulder problem. Reluctantly decided to go out for the 2nd, and was 'swarmed' in the same way a gentle breeze swarms a flower. Could have got up; didn't.

Looking back at his padded Mexico-based record, I see he fought the same guy three times!

At the very least he's showing us a fresh and somewhat illegitimate new way to enter the upper echelons of the heavyweight division!

Just seem a clip someone put up, Jesus.

I don't know what was worse, the way he went down from being tapped to the stomach (delayed reaction of about 5 seconds), or the terrible cartwheel Charr did at the end before nearly falling over as he came out of it.

I know your just joking but don’t put Khurtsidze in with them other names.

he could really bang and caused some upsets.

Just obviously a joke outside of the ring but not in it like lovejoy

Yeah it's the high levels of bull***t and misdemeanor outside the ring that I like. Anyone who crashes into the higher reaches of a division and then crashes back out again. Particularly if they can do with some chutzpah!

Look out Rocky Marciano. Manuel Charr will pass him as the longest reigning champ of that org in two months time.

Only Joe Louis and Wlad Klitschko will be ahead of Charr in about two months.

He'll be the third-longest reigning WBA Heavyweight Champion in history.

Tip of the cap to the WBA. They keep making history.
