Come on! this can't be real. Who would pay Charr and Pulev to sell lemonade much less uh, fight?

 

I won't dispute it.

 

Kubrat Pulev should win.

If Fury beats Usyk, Fury likely vacates most of the belts.

That would make Pulev the WBA champ (no 'regular' designation).

Then, there's a mad dash. I imagine everyone with a boxing license will race after Pulev with an offer. Bakole. Joshua. Pero. Sanchez. Kabayel. Dubois. Anderson. Wardley. If Ngannou upsets Joshua, Francis might even be at the head of the line.

It could all happen very quickly between March 30 and the Fury-Usyk matchup. By June, Pulev could be full WBA champ.

I think there's a stipulation the regular belt needs to be defended twice before becoming a mandatory.

Sorry. I don't have a link so I could be wrong, but I think this was something as part of the Charr re-instatement.

 

Charr is just delaying the fight with Fast Fres until it's a little safer to get in the ring with him, just like Floyd did with Manny. I'd say another 2-3 years ought to do it.

Pulev isn't the right nationality to get treated well. Even at his age, he'd easily beat Dubois.
