This is true. Ortiz's request for a rematch with Maidana has been rejected like 3-4 times. Actually Ortiz talks about this in the Mosley-Mora press conference.

This article does no justice to Khan at all , in fact it makes him sound like his ego is beginning to cloud his judgement , he's referring to Marquez like he's a lesser draw in world boxing than Khan , whether thats right or not he shouldnt be saying that about such an established world class future HOF'er :deal

Obviously somebody has given Khan the figures team Maidana have initially come up with , he wouldnt just make that up would he ???

looks like wee Amir is already looking for a way out of the fight...hes scared of Maidana, and no amount of smoke and mirrors will change that. I'll believe the fight when I actually see the 2 of them in the ring, and not before that.

if it ever does happen Maidana will knock Khan out cold within 3

You wanna bet? Is that why I get along with the criticisers too? I try to be as unbias as possible and then you come out of nowhere saying **** like this. Crawl back to supporting Mayweather.

Where is he by the way? Vacation wasn't it? :patsch

Why don't you wait till you hear what's happening instead of going to judgement like half you ****ers do.

Not really, he's just saying that Marquez is apparently demanding too much money for a fight in which he is technically the challenger. Khan earns a ****ton per fight already so in his view, why would he take the fight in the first place, especially since people would chastise him for cherrypicking an older, smaller fighter. Maybe Khan should be willing to take a smaller purse to fight Marquez. But the fact is that we don't know what offers were made, period. I know if I were Marquez I wouldn't take a Khan fight. He has too many advantages and Marquez just isnt meant to be at that weight.

Maidana needs to hire a translator. Khan's statement was that Marquez was overpricing himself and that he wants Maidana next

You've got to realize that Khan is a pretty big star in the UK. Many people don't like this because they feel he hasn't earned it, but thats how it is. The important thing to realize is that when Khan and Marquez sit down to negotiate it is not about how much Marquez has done in the sport and how he is a HOF'er. That means jack. This is business and what matters here is how many tickets you sell and if you can sell a fight. For all that Marquez has done in the game, he got paid in the same in his last fight as Khan was paid. I think a lot of boxing fans are deluded to think that the better fighter gets to take control of negotiations. Boxing is a business.

Who knows? Lets wait and find out :hey

Hey , I am a khan fan too.. But your signature has a picture of Khan beating a bum saying redemption ... He could only get redemption by beating Presscott
