Like i said whether its right or wrong IMO Khan shouldnt be that disrespectfull to a fighter who was topping bills at multiple weight classes for world titles long before Khan got knocked cold by Prescott ............

Whether technically Marquez is the challenger or not , Marquez IMO should take the bigger purse for this fight , and TBH you'd think GB and Khan would of worked out that the only way there gonna get Marquez in the ring is by giving him the Lions share of the money generated , i mean thats just ****in common sense , espescially when Khan Marquez if it did happen would likely be in America :deal

I dont wanna come across like a Khan basher here , because thats the last thing i am , he wants to be gratefull that Marquez and him are being mentioned in the same breath and show a little more respect ............

Thanks for that little insight into how popular Khan is in my own country , i think i may of worked that one out in the 5 fights ive been sat ringside watching the lad :good

Who ever said that Khan Marquez was certain to happen in the UK ??? , i wouldnt of bet on it , the American public would be very interested in this fight , and it would do massive PPV numbers in England hence giving GB there new Ricky Hatton , big gate in Vegas , good solid PPV numbers there too , massive site fee , then the additional PPV buys in England .

If this fight was to happen Stateside IMO Marquez gets the Lions share ......... or should ............

It could have happened in the UK. The UK PPV numbers would also be put into the total pot right? So that is why Khan has some leverage. Who knows how much Marquez was asking for and how much Khan thought was fair......

true marquez is a big name in boxing and has been in bigger fights than khan. I think it should be 70-30 if not 60-40 for marquez. If they really want to fight i think it would be easy to make since both are with golden boy.

If Kahn was half as great and important as he thinks he is, he would be special. But he's just another import the English have to stand behind because they don't have any native sons worth backing.

You, swarmer are clueless. It's on the b-scene website that Khan say that Maidana and his team is overpricing themself. If you don't believe me, go to the b-scene website. Khan is trying his hardest to make everyone believe him in which he got you 2 fools.

Yes but you have a huge site fee in Vegas , then you have a solid gate and good PPV numbers there too , then consider the UK USA time difference , if you make a fight in the UK starring a big draw fighter in the States starting at the normal time of around 22:00 , then you can kiss your American PPV numbers goodbye , as nobody is interested in a fight on at that time .

All the pointers for a Khan Marquez fight point to Vegas , it just makes the most sense financially , why do you think Hatton fought so many times there ??

My overall point is who gives a **** what little old Amir wants , he should relish the chance to fight a legend and take the inevitable strong payday , its speculating to accumulate , if Khan goes on and beats Marquez his stock goes up in the negotiation tables there after :deal

I didn't see the second half of it so i'll admit that I was in the wrong on this one. Either way, Maidana's contractual and managing is so ****ed his team could be giving khan different quotes than what the guy is even aware of. He could have been getting and refusing quotes from GBP employees for some time now. The point is, nobody knows what pricing is on the table. Not you, not me, and arguably maidana and khan themselves might not even be getting the full picture? so why fuel this contractual stupidity? this is exactly what makes pacquiao-mayweather such an annoying topic.

Actually the b-scene article(which i read) omitted the section about maidana pricing himself out. the actual INTERVIEW on another site is what has that section. so eat dicks, i guess.
