He said hed go to '54 for a big fight. He was considered for a fight against Canelo at one point. How would he fare against the top guys @ 54 like Cotto, Canelo and Lara?
Chino was at his strongest and prime @ 140 @147 he can still bang pretty good and hurt you (Karrass, Josesito , Broner, Mayweather ) but he still not as strong as he was in his previous division . @154 I don't see him being effective at all . On top of that hes already slow to begin with , that extra weight will slow him down even more . Someone as mediocre as Delvin Rodriguez , I see even him giving Maidana a beatdown in that weightclass . Stay away from 154 and continue to give us classics @ 147
yeah, he weighed 165 for the frist mayweather fight...that makes him a solid middleweight. i think he'd beat cotto and canelo. but lara would take him.
His best weight is at 140. Just because he beat Floyd in the first fight at 147 doesn't mean he would be better at 154. FFS, he weighed less than floyd in the 2nd fight.
No chance Cotto Outboxes him to a wide Points decision (can stop him to the body, but no way takes the risk), it'll be similar to the Margarito 2 and mayorga fight, Points about 117-111 Canelo and Chino would be a great fight for like 2-3 rounds, then Canelo punishes Chino, stops him inside 7 Lara would school him, 120-108, can't see chino winning one round
that doesn't mean **** you fool maidana is too small to fight at junior middleweight I don't care if he comes in at 170 plus he would just be a blown up welterweight.
