Why would any clean fighter be against extra testing? I think it's great the Maidana asked for it and I also like the fact that Alexander agreed with no excuses. Two more fighters who want boxing to be a clean sport. This is certainly the best way to go.

 

This is great and they should allow Floyd the honor of
inserting the needle into each of their asses in the dressing room.

 

Are all of Floyd's fighters testing as well? Jessie Vargas? That's how you lead.

Very, very pleased to see this.

Equally pleased with Maidana requesting this as I am with Alexander for accepting the request less than two weeks to fight time. Fighters need to work on getting this ironed out before the contracts are signed. This is all up to the fighters, as the commissions and sanctioning bodies have shown over the past few decades that they will not do anything to prevent PED's in the sport.

The fight is in two weeks.

Unless they have a time machine, they can't go back and do random testing for the two months leading up to the fight.

 

lets put more testing to go on top of the testing thats already here and feel good that the "sport is being cleaned up" dumb ****s!

1) lets keep all minor league / amateur refs to referee elite world title fights
2) lets allow the WBA to invent 4 or 5 world titles at each weight to top the 3 that somehow no one finds corrupt
3) minor league / amateur judges in elite top class fights...well paul willams would be against that
4) lets not allow 40 year old welterweights who havent won a fight in 3 years to go up in weight and challenge 21 year old 39-0 champions when they are supposed to be "kinda ****ing ranked in the top 15" .
5) lets get rid of some of the weight divisions that are seprated by "3 pounds"
6) lets maybe do something about a middleweight being allowed to fight at cruiserweight because its ok to gain 21 pounds ..... a guy like that would present more health problems for the other guy than a 2nd drug test to go along with the first already in place

If all PED's just magically DID NOT EXIST, there will have been an entirely different history to the sport, particularly the past 40 years. Some household names and great champions would be journeyman and some fringe contenders might have become household names.
