Of course Top Rank made a lowball offer. They never had any intention of putting Maidana on the card and only made this purely symbolic gesture so they could pretend that they tried to get a better opponent than Grandpa Casamayor, even though he was the one they wanted all along.

$150k sounds a lot but what is it after tax or whatever else happens promoters and other employed staff it was an offer made knowing full well he would turn it down bradley would never step in the ring with maidana before he gets a big payday chance.

Bradley is a lamb being led to the slaughter and everyones scrambling to make thier money before the kill including bradley himself.

The man himself said it "what happens if I lose to khan where does that leave me ?" :deal

150k not a lot when you consider how much of it he takes home. He may only have 3 big paydays left or so and with this kind of money he will be lucky to have enough money to secure his family for 10 years

Ridiculous lowball offer, they had no intention of making Maidana-Bradley. Maidana isn't a big draw but pretty sure $150k is less or around a BAD payday. Bradleys a top 2 guy at 140 why would Maidana take that?

Obviously, Bradley doesn't really want to fight Chino.

Do any of you have links to what Bradley is getting? Sounds high for a Pac under card fight. Arum COULD be siphoning money from Pac to pay him, but it isn't really likely. Bradley doesn't bring $1.2 mill to the equation for this fight.

maidana should've said 4get the money and just beat him

he might've made a better push to khan 2 if he was able to beat ninja turtle

not a good look for maidana, first the unfinished business with morales, now turning away a fight with ninja turtle cuz of money? maidana needs to step it up

I was going on the HBO gauranteed money for his next fight, atleast under Shaw that's what he would be getting. If breaking his contract with Shaw nulled that, he would've negotiated a similar purse for his first fight to sign with Top Rank.

This is a PPV fight though, and Casamayor sure as **** wouldn't appear on any list of HBO approved opponents anyway. Bradley's probably getting around $500000.

OK. I just doubted Arum would pick Pac's pocket cuz Bradley doesn't generate revenue. I'm not a Bradley Believer. I think Maidanna beats him. My honest opinion anyhow. I don't see Top Rank anxious to make this, at least as an undercard fight where it really doesn't bring in a nickels more revenue.

    Sound reasonable.

I don't know man, I'd find it hard to believe he'd accept less than half of what he would've been getting, and probably a quarter of what he would've got against Khan. He would've had some pull, Arum had been interested in signing him for a while. I could see it though if a Pacquiao fight was promised to him next.

Im a Bradley fan, but thats an insult man. Maidana is champ and 150k to 1mil Bradley would get? That's lowballing at its best. Actually pretty pathetic offer.
