But he's also a much better boxer than he's given credit for. A lot of times he looks crude and wild but there's thought behind it and it works. He's effective. He's very effective. He's going to run into matches where he matches up badly like most fighters but his body of work as a whole is certainly nothing just any crude brawler could wander into. There's craft behind Chino.

    i hear u, maidana has improved by leaps and bounds in his last 4 fights. saturday should be razor close and i will be rooting for him but if i was a betting man i would have to give floyd the nod.

    That sounds like some **** you heard on TV but I am inclined to agree with you. There is a method to his madness. I've been saying that since the Karass fight because I used to like him as a person as well as a fighter. I couldn't get nobody to agree to the fact that he was developing and displaying boxing skills except Bustajay. We both picked him to beat Broner and after that all the ass wipes jumped on his nutsack. He was a no nonsense fighter that put in his work and took no prisoners. His character changed after the Mayweather fight and although I no longer support him for that I still respect his heart as a fighter.

    One thing that Maidana does that really bothers Floyd that people don't really mention is how he crouches really low while getting into position to punch. That low crouching whilst moving forward really bothers Floyd and he has a difficult time landing shots when he does it. Maidana throws those jabs in that position and Floyd seems like he doesn't have an answer.

    Maidana has improved a lot, but Void has his personal referee, judges, boxing commission, etc., Void can't lose a fight in Las Vegas, no way. Maidana will use 35 ounce gloves................
