    its nothing to do with him being a bad fighter. its to do with the fact he stunk the place out on his only appearence on US TV and it will take an awful lot for him to get back on there.

    Theres a big difference between keep busy fights in his home country and going to Ireland. If he is gonna fight abroard it will be in the USA.

    The point is its the type of fight that should be made but Maidana isn't going to fight for less than he can get on HBO fighting a Guerrero. Filling out the Odyssey and Sky tv money should be enough in theory but unlikely that its enough to tempt Maidana over.

    Remember Maidana wouldn't fight Khan in the UK so why would he fight McCloskey when he can get bigger fights for better money in the US

    you can find out all purses for fights in Vegas they are released by the Nevada state athletic commision.

    Cayo $125,000
    Khan $550,000
    Morales $500,000

    $500k = £300k minimum.

    mccloskey has actually managed to get a world title fight because he has moaned about being dominated, beaten a fighter who isn't top 10 and then tweeted the world champion.

    awesome.

    i think its best for everyone if prescott sparks him inside 1 round!

    They were tweeting before paul fought khan lol, as were judah and mccloskey talking before judah signed to fight with khan...as for prescott sparking mccloskey..not gonna happen though is it?

    lets get it right, whatever the opinions are about mccloskey/khan, paul has been actually trying to get the world level fights, he gets **** for it. burns fights laryea, and gets **** for it because he fights bums. just what do you guys want?

    Awesome, fights will be made on twitter from now.

    Paul is slippery and he can move his head real well. Maybe Prescott will chin check him.

    I agree, I rather a guy fights the big fights and trys to find his level rather than bs defences like Burns.

    Eddie Hearns seems committed to risking his guys in big fights. I like that. It means we will find out what they've got. McCloskey vs Maidana, Barker vs Martinez, maybe Brook vs a champion would suggest this.

    not "fights", just connections. having said this I agree, I wouldn't touch twitter with a barge pole myself, but at least mccloskey seems to save his trash talking for interviews and seems mostly respectful to guys on twitter lol.

    I just imagine Khan coming out of a hotel, tapping a text into his phone, then Maidana drives up in a black sedan, McCloskey and Prescott jump out of it, throw a bag over Khans head and bundle him into the car..Khan never to be seen again
