if he can improve his defense and stamina, bring the same relentless pressure and perhaps add a little more pop and accuracy, he WILL beat floyd in the rematch. if floyd waits another 6 months to fight his skills will diminish even more.

FLOYD IS RIPE FOR THE PICKING!! if another fighter can use this blueprint to beat floyd i would bet on porter, he is young and relentless and has more pop than maidana, not sure how good his stamina is though. thurman does not have that relentless pressure and pac might be too shot at this point in his career.

    FLOYDS 0 IS GONNA GO.

And as for Porter....you're pinpoint on this one. You're 100% right!

Yes Chino did, but Castillo did it a decade before.

It will take NOT a boxer-puncher to beat Floyd, but more like a brawler-boxer. If Thurman could fight like that, it'd be one of Mayweather's toughest fights!

Sadly not many can apply the blueprint and even someone can do, Mayweather is most likely passing on fighting them at this stage of his career. If you check my previous I always made it clear what the "blueprint" is to beat Mayweather. All it takes is an overly aggressive wild puncher with first class stamina(which Maidana lacked) to trouble and force Mayweather out of his rhythm.

No, maidana had much more success than oscar,
plus oscar was washed up by the time he fought mayweather.

I don't think Mayweather boxed his best and I think he will win a rematch but he lost tonight in my opinion.

He would never beat Mayweather in a rematch since he lacks stamina to keep up.

And this was one of the fights he looked bad in awhile.

Not a blue print, but the best way to probably be effective against Mayweather. That tactic involves dirty fighting, keeping him on the ropes and volume punching. Let's keep in mind, Mayweather chose to lay on the ropes which was a bad idea, cause it allowed Maidana to do what he do best. Everybody always brings up the Castillo first fight, but nobody talks about the rematch fight which Mayweather sstayed of the ropes keeping Castillo in the middle of the ring. Mayweather won a wide UD too. If the Madiana fight is made again. Trust me on this, Mayweather will stay off the ropes and keep Maidana in the center of the ring, and win a lopsided fight.

So what your saying is if chino can improve on nearly every aspect of his fight game considerably in 6 months he could win. Stupid post

It was a WIDE UD, really? Look at the scorecards in the Castillo rematch. It was 7-5 by two judges. Since when is 7-5 a wide victory? But don't let the facts get in your way though.
