Maidana has shown the BLUEPRINT!!

weird angles, volume and power, sounds familiar.

 

I think Maidana's footwork caused Floyd some of the problems.
Look at when Cotto used his footwork against Floyd in round 6. He didnt try that after or before but round 6.

 

So the blueprint is to outweigh him 20 lbs, foul, wrestle, low blow, and rabbit punch him incessantly and try to sneak in unpadded gloves, wow that's some blueprint. Floyd is right guys are willing to cheat to beat him...

 

Maidana did impress me. He fought much better then I thought he would of, and gave Mayweather problems for much of the fight. Floyd clearly got the victory, but really had to fight for it. Floyd in my opinion made the fight harder on himself by laying on the ropes. Don't know if it was intentional or for the fans or not, but he should fight his fight and **** what the fans want...lol.

 

What amazed me about Floyd, is how composed he was against the ropes, and how well he fired back at Maidana with great accuracy. I'm a huge Maidana fan and I tipped him to do well which he did, but Floyd just looked so sharp to me last night when most guys would be like a rabbit in headlights.

 

Sure Maidana worked on what Garcia presented him with, tapes, moves and then sparring systematically on that. Example being avoiding those withering right hand counter shots and blocking the left hook that combines with the leading right hand. I didn't know that Maidana could work that well on defense and then going to the body so well and so close. I said it and I am gonna say it again, it has to be a top of his game Pacquiao or Sergio Martinez overwhelming Floyd with his mobility and power.

Exactly, even after the gash from the head butt, he stayed calm. This fight was only close because he stayed on the ropes to long. When in the center of the ring, Maidana was getting tattooed with jabs and right hand leads. If part 2 happen, it will be a different fight like it was Castillo 2.
