You need to mix it up against Floyd. You cannot go in there with just one game plan. Maidana was going to town the first five rounds before Floyd adjusted. If maidana had a plan b and fought some rounds like Oscar fought him he would have easily won.
Maidana fought the only fight he could and have success with. If he couldn't rough up PBF on the inside he had no shot or no plan B.
Well, according to Judah Matthysse is was the strongest/hardest puncher he's ever faced and I think Zabs been in with a few Offensively Matthysse does things Maidana can only dream of for example the double left hook
Bradley: Matthysee hits way harder than provo and thats wearing 20 Oz sparring gloves and not going full force !!!!!!!!!
roughing him up was plan a, as far as him having no plan b I do not know if he did or not because it looked like he tried to same thing the whole time buf after round 5 floyd had adjusted. Was he capable of fighting floyd any other way? I highly doubt it as Floyd is better than maidana in every aspect.
There was still close rounds after 5 outside of the 9th and maybe one more Calm down Maidana clearly won the 12th
I just don't understand how any person who understands PROFESSIONAL prize fighting could believe this with a straight face. Again, just my thoughts. I literally had Floyd sweeping rds 6 -11, 12 was a toss up. Maidana was not boxing he was mauling, a la Hatton vs Tzuyu.
