    On fightnews...

Would you move up in weight to fight Mayweather?

I’d jump on that right now. Without a blink of the eye. I don’t wanna sound arrogant myself ’cause that’s not my style. But Mayweather’s attitude pisses me off. He was so disrespectful with Pacquiao and then all we know is that he got himself out of the fight. I hate that attitude from him when he refers to other boxers like “who is this one or who has done that one” like he is the only champion of all time. I remember when he did that to Margarito and then he was disrespectful with my compatriot Carlos Baldomir.

But you never fought as a welterweight.

On Mayweather’s last bout he was nearly knocked out on his feet by Shane Mosley in the second round. That tells me that Mayweather could not take a solid punch from me. He is a better boxer than me, of course. But I’m a warrior, so the fight would not be a tactical one. I’d make it a war by stalking him until he falls.

Yeah, Maidana is a great warrior. I wanna see him fight Floyd someday.
But I know that's asking for the moon.

    :rofl

    Superman has spoken!

The guy couldn't finish off an already done with Khan after landing one solid shot, not to forget that he was getting a one-sided ass ripping the entire fight. Mayweather would kill this clown and a single punch 4 minutes before the fight is over won't do **** to Mayweather, even if it did Maidana won't follow up.

Carlos Baldomir that Floyd fought would have beaten Maidana.

He had his chance to punish Khan, he blew it.

He'd barely land anything on Floyd.

So Maidana thinks a multi-weight champion and one of the best fighters of the past decade couldn't stand one shot from him.

And yet he's calling other people arrogant.

Amir Khan took multiple flush shots from you, you delusional twat!

Sorry but when fighters start using their KO power as there only way to win a fight, it usually means that when the going gets tough they will wilt.

He may want to make fighting mayweater a brawl, but its not possbile to do so. Floyd dictates the pace and vs such a crude boxer with looping punches maid would get destroyed.

    Give it up.

I think Maidana is rueing that missed opportunity versus Kahn. Floyd's way too slick for him, way too good a counter puncher and a decent inside fighter with good defense on the inside. I'd take him in a rematch against Kahn though that will never happen.
