You see, that is the problem.
You guys seem to think that Maidana somehow mysteriously transformed into a top-WW. He did not. All he did was beating a guy that got beat up by Malignaggi one fight before. Every half decent WW looks fantastic Vs Broner.
If you put Maidana in there with Devon or Khan, the result would be the same like the first time around.
Maidana loses handily to each and every fighter you have mentioned, and that is the exact reason why Floyd chose him.

Floyd knows damn well chances are Maidana will lose his next fight because his reputation exceeds his skills by far.
Truth is nobody had Maidana on the screen before Broner, and deservingly so. Just because Broner turns out to be a pathetic hypejob doesn't mean Maidana is any good, but you people don't seem to get that :roll:

 

I like Maidana. Not the most athletically gifted, but he's gotten a lot out of what he does have. And Garcia has made improvements. The guy gets dogged out far too much for a fighter who just goes about his business and puts on entertaining fights. Shame.

I don't see how Maidana is not concidered by some a top Welter weight between Alexander and Broner he worked him self in as a solid top ten Welter factor in embarrassing losses between the WW ranked 2-5 (Pacquiao, Marquez, Alexander, Guerrero*) and an impressive run by Maidana culminating in the upset of Broner Maidana should rightly be ranked in the top 3 of the division.

No matter how you slice it Maidana has been better than most of the people you say are better then him in the last 2/3 years. What I don't gets is most of you will argue Bradley lost his last three fights yet he's more deserving, Pacquiao just got KO'd and has won one fight in almost three years yet he's more deserving, Thurman's best win is a guy Maidana gets no credit for beating yet he's more deserving.

Make that make since Maidana always comes to fight you know he won't quit, he's a highly rated champ and is always entertaining, most guys get major praise for fighting a guy like Maidana. Is Maidana going to clean out WW I doubt it but he has a good chance vs any of the names mentioned, from what we've seen Maidana has trouble with boxers. Guys like Pacquiao, Porter, and at times Bradley don't fit that description, Karass showed you Thurmans chin isn't exactly granted people who are saying he just gets demolish by everyone at Welter are just hating imo. Out of all the so called big PPV fights coming up the only B-side that is on an extended winning streak is tops in the division and a champ is Maidana.

Alvarez-Angulo (both coming off a loss) Bradley-Pacquiao II (some people think Bradley is 0-3 some think Pac is 1-3 since 12 either way its both bad) Martinez-Cotto (Martinez off a robberey win Cotto with one win since 11') yet somehow those are all good/better fights again make it make since.

Danny beat Matthysses's ass, and there was not a more satisfying win that I've seen in a while other than Pac torturing Margarito.

Maidana had a good chance to beat Broner. Many gave Maidana a chance. None of you gave Danny Garcia a chance...and Danny whooped his ass and broke his eye socket. You even said Danny was scared after Matthysse ko'd Peterson. The photos of Danny's face were blown up all over every boxing site.
