Maidana is one of the weakest world champs in boxing currently

I think he is below average as a champ. That doesn't mean he isn't very exciting.

 

I think you are doing Maidanaa disservice there as he has improved his craft while working with Garcia. He beat Broner to the punch with the jab and feights, body to head also confused Broner and he got outfoxed.

Maidana isn't below average, that is saying he is a bad fighter/champ as anything below average means low standard, Maidana is a good fighter.

Maidana is the type of guy whose losses you overlook because you appreciate he's a hard working boxer who isn't perfect but tries his best. After seeing him get up quickly from the hard body shot Khan hit him with, my respect for him increased a lot even before the Broner fight.

I also think he could beat the current Khan in a rematch.

Maidana is a great fighter. Amir Khan already beat him and should get the fight with Floyd not Maidana.

Ref saved Broner no doubt about it. Glad Maidana beat the **** out of him for 12 anyway as it was probably just as enjoyable as a KO would have been:good

Good point, even Devon had a cut eye, but yeah only Devon has really escaped bad punishment form a Maidana fight. Khan and Kotelink had to go to the Hospital after their wins vs Maidana for example.

I don't even think he as slow as some people say he is, he isn't fast but the way some people go on about him being slow you would think he never lands any shots on his opponents.
