You don't need to have devastating one-punch KO power against Khan. He was hurt badly by a left jab/cross and subsequently KO'd. There was very little leverage on this punch. If Madiana can catch him, Roach won't be able to save him. GBP is testing him now as they cannot afford to invest anymore time into the prospect. If he gets KO'd or beatdown tonight, his career is essentially over as a future champion.

GBP is still coddling Canelo but there is much more at stake with him as a crossover Mexican star. I don't think that he'll even be better than Campas as he really doesn't possess the speed or power to win at WW let alone JMW.

And Pac was floored by a bodyshot as a Flyweight yet took several brutal bodyshots during his fight with Margarito.

Anyway I think we'll see just how shaky Khan's chin really is tonight...

Maidana has an akward style. He throws power with both hands has a good left hook. He reminds me of a kermit cintron w/ a splash of tito and JMM.

I was extremely impressed by the two bodyshots Pac took from Marg. That should erase any doubts that he is a true WW. Had a good amount of money on Marg at +475. He gave it his all but is finished as a fighter as is his nemesis Cotto.

This is a great fight tonight. UFC followed by HBO Championship boxing.
Awesome Saturday night. I have a feeling Madaina is going to KO Khan or get KO'd trying. Unlike Khan, who will probably be fighting strictly for the win limiting his exposure.

    Good points.

I favour Khan... but not by much.

Still though you have to admire both fighters, they're willing to fight anyone and earn their respect.

That is what I think. Ortiz doesn't give any angles. He punches hard, but he doesn't seem to take a punch well. This fight tonight means a lot of prove what Khan has and if he can take a punch, and if people have overrated guys like Ortiz and Maidana.
