    1. Floyd Mayweather
    2. Manny Pacquiao
    3. Tim Bradley
    4. Juan Manuel Marquez
    5. Shawn Porter
    6. Kell Brook
    7. Keith Thurman
    8. Amir Khan
    9. Devon Alexander
    10.Robert Guerrero

Oh. And before you say "OMG DEVON IS IN UR TOP 10?!?!?!" Well guess what... Devon SCHOOLED Maidana so IMO Maidana HAS to be rated below Alexander. Only reason why Maidana is at all regarded is because of his win over non legit 147 lber Adrien "Glass" Broner. Sure Broner is athletic and quick but I think a win over Paulie, who lets face it wasn't at his best or the top champion at the time, shouldn't have gotten broner rated that high.

I don't think Maidana should have gotten a chance at Mayweather in the first fight, and I don't think he should get a second chance. THATS THE BEST HE CAN DO. Give ANY of the top 10 WELTERS a CHANCE against Floyd before he retires.

Again I will repeat. Stop with your low quality troll threads.

Khan hasn't beat anyone at 147 yet (although his Collazo win does boost him above lame ass Brook)
Thurman hasn't beat anyone at 147 yet
Brook has barely beat anyone at world level!

"Devon SCHOOLED Maidana so IMO Maidana HAS to be rated below Alexander." - Then why have you rated Pac above Marquez.

    1. Floyd Mayweather
    2. Manny Pacquiao
    3. Tim Bradley
    4. Juan Manuel Marquez (Just picking his fights till retirement he did ok against Bradley though so meh)
    5. Marcos Maidana
    6. Shawn Porter
    7. Devon Alexander

tight between the bottom 3...they lose and win against different fighters.

Who has Maidana beaten? You are rating TWO fighters Khan and Alexander lower than someone they beat. That is not right. I agree you could probably change the positions of Pac/Marquez/Bradley a bit. But there is no way in hell Maidana is rank 5. NO way. He lost to Khan and Alexander. CONVINCINGLY.

I make this thread because I believe people are rating Maidana good over his performances on Broner and Mayweather. He LOST to Mayweather. Broner was a total HYPEJOB. Someone must be paying off the guys @ boxrec and Ring Magazine to rate this guy higher than he really is.

    Pacquiao
    Mayweather
    Bradley
    JMM
    Porter
    Khan
    Alexander
    ------------------
    Maidana
    Thurman
    Abregu
    Brook

Head to head, I would take Abregu over Maidana. Thurman too. Alexander schools Maidana again. Guerrero hasn't done sh*t to be ranked in the top 10, or top 11.

I'd take Maidana to beat Brook, who just can't handle good pressure fighters.

    1.Floyd
    2.Pac
    3.Bradley
    4.JMM
    5.Chino
    6.Porter
    7.Thurman
    8.Khan
    9.Guerrero
    10.Alexander

    That's accurate.

    Thurman hasn't beaten anyone.
    Guerrero has been inactive.
    Alexander has sucked.
Khan has 1 fight at 147 against a decent opponent.
Porter's best win is a faded Paulie
Chino has a good win in Broner, and did well against the best fighter in the world. That ups his stock to me.
    Pac is self explanatory
    Bradley is self explanatory.
    JMM is self explanatory.

My grandmother has a better resume at 147 then Brook.

Floyd is the king. Nuff said.

He only was competitive against Floyd because Floyd had a TERRIBLE night. Chino is below Alexander, who is below Porter. The absolute highest you could rank Maidana is #8. As he has been beaten by Khan as well.

    Floyd
    Pac
    JMM
    Bradley
    Porter
    Alexander
    Khan
    Chino

This is the most generous you can be to Chino, without being a biased fan.

What has Khan done at 47 to be above Chino, as well as Alexander, Porter? Nothing. He's either 6 or 5. Meaning just behind porter, or just ahead of him.

7lbs won't save Maidana from receiving another beating at the hands of Amir Khan. He wasn't able to KO the glass chinned Brit at 140, I don't think he will be able to at 147.

Maidana is SO overrated right now its DISGUSTING. THE GUY HAD TROUBLE WITH JOSITO LOPEZ LMAO. That was less than a year ago. Now two fights later and the guy is king of the world? Ok.

No there's only one king of the world.

But Khan almost got stopped in the 10th round. And Chino has improved since then under Garcia. Better Jab, Accuracy and Stamina.

Khan has regressed since than. In my opinion, he was really good at 140.

I'm a fan of Alexander and have Maidana ahead of him, Maidana losing to Khan/Alexander doesn't rate them ahead at WW, Maidana would be widely favored to win a rematch vs Khan and almost KO'd him in their first fight, Alexander since beating Maidana beat Purdy, Baily & lost to Porter Maidana since has beaten Karass, Lopez, Broner & a close in some opinions loss to Mayweather which put him ahead by recent performance and comp.

Marquez is another fighter I like but he is 2-3 @ 147, Porter is debatable with Maidana all depends on how high you rate the Alexander win just based off WW resume Maidana should be top 3/4. I'm pretty sure R.Duran has losses to Leonard, Hearns, & Hagler yet is rated above all three all time
