In the most recent photo of the 2 on fightnews maidana looks very pale and gaunt. While Khan looks fit and healthy. Khan looks to be the bigerger and stronger of the two. Last year I said that maidana would for sure KO khan because he would just bowl him over, but i'm leaning more towards the brit for the late stoppage. Freddy will have khan moving laterally pumping out the jab, and aside from the occasional charge (where maidana is most dangerous) khan will shut him out for 9-10 rds before the ref saves marcos. The only caviot are the charges from maidanthat khan has to be weary of, because marcos can hurt khan alot easier then khan can hurt him. However, maidana got hurt by ortiz, who while stronger than khan, is not as dangerous of a puncher. My pick for this saturday is khan by tko 10
2 days out from the weigh-in. Question is how long has he been holding that? Notice khan doesn't have that dried out look. Don't you think that will make a difference in the fight? I know i beleive it will. It means khan only has to be very cautious for the first 4 rounds. After that he will shalaque maidana into submission.
He looks very dried out to me. I heard he had trouble making 140 for Corley. Let's see what happens on fight night.
how do we know khan isnt as strong as ortiz?????. i think amir will show even more improved boxing. implementing the game plan to perfection again. looking stronger than ever before. he wont make light welter soon,3 more fights tops, but big uk fight and winner of alexander/bradley surely is all he would fight should he win this weekend. then he will test himself vs a good weltwerweight,if he passes, maybe floyd fights him in the UK.if floyds not in jail and hasnt signed to fight pac. Khan vs berto could be a real good fight in the future.
the guy has fought at 140 his entire career...wtf does khan or anyone else have to do with weight draining him? or do you like to just throw the word "weight drained" around ? atschatsch
