Notice the difference op and why Maidana could do what he wanted with mayweather, when May makes Maidana miss, May lands a counter potshot. When Pacquiao makes Margarito miss, he lands 5-10 punch combinations with intensity.

 

completely disagree with this, Styles make fights. If Floyd fights Maidana again, he'll win a wider decision. If Pac fought Maidana, unless he completely fell off the turnip truck, he would batter Maidana, Floyd is a precision economical boxer. Pac is a fast mobile volume puncher with some pop, a horrible matchup for Maidana. That being said Floyd would have problems early with Pac and cruise to a UD (likely MD how the judges are for him these days). Different styles that compliment one person are poison to others.

 

IMO, Margo should've been stopped by the ref after the 9th round. It was clear that Margo's eye has been badly damage and any further hit could jeopardized his life. Pac stopped trying after the 10th and let him finish.

Anyway, it's true the only difference between Rios, Margo & Maidana is that Pac might stop Maidana. Pac will turn him over and over while landing his shots. Regardless of how much Pac hits him he will not stop. That will be Maidana's down fall against Pac.

It was ok for Maidana to take hits against Mayweather because he can easily endure his punches but against Pacquiao's punches that can hurt and cut your face. He'll be a bloody mess.

Mayweather was lucky to pull a Bradley and walk with a win.
