Maidana would be in more trouble than he was against Josesito before he caught him.

Broner isn't the next great thing, but neither is Maidana.

Lopez stunned Maidana a couple of times but you clearly saw how quickly he recovers. Broner would have to move much more than we've seen from him if he's gonna stay out of trouble against Maidana.

I think these guys are on the same level, so that makes for an interesting fight. Maidana is a small welterweight and so is Broner.

    50/50.

You're obviously using the Alexander fight as evidence of Maidana's shortcomings. Yes, Devon outboxed Maidana but he's a southpaw who punches like a legitimate WW. Broner, on the other hand, doesn't move nearly as much and has unproven power at 147.

Broner would outbox Maidana. once I saw what Lopez did, Broner can do that times 5!! He has keeps his hands up and watch those bombs, but Broner can easily outbox Miadana for sure

    Maidana never said he was.

He simply said he wants to fight Broner, and also believes he can win the fight (which is possible).

Also Maidana told it like it is and there was very little bravado (if any) in what he said.

I agree that the fight probably wont happen, but oh my god I would be so interested to see it.

This is a winnable fight for both Broner and Maidana. Broner would have to give it all he has and hope for some kind of TKO stoppage, because Marcos doesn't quit. He's been rocked, but he doesn't quit. Broner could be put down as well by Maidana's power.

Great fight! The older Argentines are knocking on the young Garcia and Broners' doors. GBP might not be happy about that! lol

    Duck Maidana?

There are about 10 guys who I'm sure we'd all rather see Broner fight. Maidana is your typical second best clobber, he comes up short everytime he steps up in competition.

Little credit will be given to Broner if he outbox the slugger Maidana. Ex.. Alexander.

Not me. I would LOVE to see him face Broner, and I am sure I am not the only one.

You seem to forget that Maidana brings entertainment win or lose, and all I want to see is entertaining fights. Surely thats all you want too?

If you don't think it would be at the very least a good fight you are mad.
