Horrible news I was looking forward to this fight. I guess maybe Bradley-Alexander can happen now.

It probably (hopefully) won't be Abregu at 147...it's still inked in as a WBO 140lb defense for Bradley.

I never liked the idea of that fight. Alexander is much safer.

Why would this need to be at a catchweight of 138? Marquez can weigh whatever he wants, if Bradley's light welterweight title is on the line he has the right to weigh anywhere up to 140. If Marquez himself chooses to weigh in two pounds less than the limit it's not going to put him at a major size/strength disadvantage.

Besides, he's got a second date with Baby Bull later in the same month.

That's some shitty news. Most of the JWW are tied up at the moment. Alexander is avaliable, it would be great if they made that fight. May'be Aydin can move down or Bradley can move up to make a fight.

I was looking forward to this one. The best fight on paper perhaps this year. I just wish Maidana and his team did the professional thing of at least calling ahead of time.

As much as I would like to see a Maidana-Bradley fight, I was hoping they could wait just a bit longer until they were famous enough to pull a big money card. These are two young superstars in the making, and they deserve all the money they can make.

It's funny that Bradley is calling Maidana a chicken cause Alexander said the same thing about Bradley and Maidana.

I was really looking forward to this fight. It would have been one of the highlights of the boxing year for me if it happened. But now I think Bradley should fight Alexander. That would be almost just as good, and a fight I'm dying to see. I think Maidana should fight a tune up or two and then knock Khan out, and then fight the winner of Bradley-Alexander. Now we're talkin.
