Funny how people bring up belts when it suits them. Floyd himself said a few weeks ago that he didnt care about his belt and that Pac could have it... but im sure Floyd really cares about Maidanas belt.

 

like belt is too important for pedjr, he trashed the one he had so not fight his mando, pac.

once double-damaged goods wins against martinez, belt will become important again for pedjr.:good

I guess Maidana was an easier fight to promote on TV, based on his popular win over Broner. Can you imagine trying to sell the Khan fight with highlights from his recent fights against Diaz, Garcia and Petersen. Hey watch this chinny Brit struggling with Diaz and getting beaten by Garcia fight the best fighter in the world. With Maidana they can show highlight reels of him battering Maidana so even though Maidana is worse than Khan at least to casual fans he will look decent compared to Khan who has just looked awful in recent fights.

 

Barring Pac & Bradley who are with top rank Madaina would start favourite over the rest of the welterweight division.
