    If it wasn't for that ridiculous point deduction i would have had the fight between Maidana and Khan a draw

    Of course it does. Maidana lost the fight but won the EVT. :deal

    people please stop saying Cortez helped Khan by stoping the clinching. If you watch the fight properly you will see that Maidana landed his bombs on the outside, not the inside, therefor Maidana was doing more damage when there was space between the 2, so by splitting the clinch, Cortez was actually doing Maidana a favour. your jsut making excuses that dont make sense.

    Maidana was robbed on most peoples cards. Khan would not last in a rematch.

    I'd place big money on Maidana winning by KO in a rematch, I believe he would attack more aggressively than he did the first time out and would rock Khan in his boots within the first couple of rounds. Khan was very fortunate to survive round 10, and as we saw in his fight against Colombian farmer Breidis Prescott he can be wobbled by jabs.

    I had it 114-111 for khan, this was one of those fights where both guys' rep improved.

    Why? You think Maidana will turn up with a different strategy or something?

    The only reason the fight was close was a single punch in the 10th round. if it wasn't for that we'd be all talking about how Khan schooled Maidana.

    You know what, I am ok with this. It means he has desire, drive ect... If this didn't bother him then there would be something wrong. Plus he isn't really saying anything terrbile about Kahn, just that he is uset you he lost.

    Maidana better get a conditioning coach if he wants to win against a Khan rematch. Only reason he didn't finish Khan off is that Maidana was too gassed to pull the trigger. Who knows, that 1st rd crushing shot may have had taken a bit out of him.
